Steps to Secure Your Mobility Permit
Applying for a mobility parking permit in Kellyville involves several straightforward steps. Most residents complete these steps within weeks. First, you need a medical report from your doctor or specialist. This report must confirm your eligibility and describe how your condition affects your mobility. It should accompany your application form. If you hold a NSW driver or rider licence, your doctor will assess whether you need a fitness to drive evaluation. Those seeking an individual or temporary permit should clarify the need for medical assessment. This is particularly important if you are applying for the first time or if your condition has changed significantly.
Once you have the necessary medical documentation, submit your application either online or by visiting a local Service NSW centre. Kellyville residents can access the Kellyville Service Centre for in-person support if needed. If you are managing a temporary disability and have difficulties visiting the centre, you may be eligible for a photo exemption. This exemption allows someone to submit documents on your behalf. The entire approval process typically takes 10-15 business days once you have submitted complete documentation.
