In Narrabeen, disability parking regulations are strictly enforced by Northern Beaches Council to protect access for eligible users. Designated bays are typically 2.4 metres wide, positioned closest to entrances for maximum accessibility. Permit holders can legally use these spaces, but unmarked parking in disability bays without valid credentials results in penalties up to $550. The council actively monitors compliance, particularly near shopping centres and community facilities on Albert Street and Emerald Street.
