Eligibility requires a medical report confirming your condition. You can apply online or visit a local Service NSW office in North Ryde. If attending in person proves difficult, someone can apply on your behalf with proper authorization. NSW mobility parking permits require documentation showing your medical eligibility. The blue card suits permanent disabilities, while the red card serves temporary mobility challenges like post-surgery recovery.
Application Requirements and Medical Documentation
Securing your permit demands specific documentation from your doctor or specialist. Your medical report must confirm mobility impairment. First-time applicants holding NSW licences may need a fitness-to-drive assessment. Photo requirements apply unless you qualify for an exemption due to your disability. Service NSW staff can explain exemption options during your application.
