Temporary permits cover six-month periods, which are suitable for recovery or short-term conditions. Specialist wheelchair access permits serve individuals who require unique vehicle modifications or assistance devices. Each permit type is tailored to match different mobility challenges. This ensures fair access across the suburb's public spaces and beyond.
Ku-ring-gai Council administers these permits locally, working alongside the Victorian State Government's Department of Transport.
