St Lucia Time Limits, Permit Areas and UQ Free Periods
Brisbane’s Traffic Areas, Parking Areas, Parking Control Areas and Regulated Parking Permit Areas use conditions set for each designated area. In most of those areas, the general regulated period is 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 7am to noon Saturday, with a two-hour paid parking limit (brisbane.qld.gov.au). St Lucia street parking therefore depends on the signed area and bay rather than one rule applying to every street.
Those concessions do not turn the bays into unrestricted general parking.
