Bridge of Allan time limits, permits and waiting restrictions
The Bridge of Allan community parking review describes Henderson Street restrictions as a mixture of arrangements, with some spaces limited to 30 minutes and others to 60 minutes, so the street does not operate as one uniform free-parking area (ccbridgeofallan.org.uk). The same material identifies Fountain Road on-street parking as 30 minutes. The community council’s later parking statement recommends retaining 30-minute waiting on Henderson Street and outside the Fountain Road post office, rather than presenting the earlier 60-minute proposal as a confirmed rule.
Stirling Council also publishes a Bridge of Allan pavement-parking entry referring to a continuous period of no more than 20 minutes beside a footway (stirling.gov.uk). A disabled badge concession belongs to the station car park’s disabled parking provision, not to general free parking throughout Bridge of Allan (grandcentralrail.com).
Busy Bridge of Allan days and the cheapest named fallback sites
Bridge of Allan’s busiest free spaces are likely to be under pressure around the Bridge of Allan Games, when spectator parking is provided in fields adjoining the Games Park with access from Mayne Avenue onto Anne Drive (bofagames.com). That event parking is specifically for spectators, so it is not a general town-centre option.
For a stay that cannot fit a short on-street limit, the named public locations are the Fountain Road car park beside the Co-op, the Health Centre and Library car park, and the Allanvale Road public car park (ccbridgeofallan.org.uk). The community council material records discussion of a possible three-hour free limit and possible charging beyond three hours at the Fountain Road Co-op car park, but also records that the council did not support introducing charges. Those statements describe local proposals and views, not a confirmed tariff.
