Parking Near Narberth
Free parking at Towns Moor and Narberth event sites
Towns Moor car park is the principal named parking option for Narberth visitors near Queens Hall. Queens Hall describes Towns Moor as a large council-owned car park behind the hall, with parking free after 7pm on most evenings (thequeenshall.org.uk). The same source gives daytime charges of £1 for one hour, £2 for two hours and £2.50 for five hours.
The Narberth Food Festival provides a separate free option when the event is running. Its free Park and Ride uses A&C Aggregates as the main car park, with entry available only at the ride entry points (narberthfoodfestival.com). This is useful for festival visitors who can leave the car at the designated event site rather than seeking a town-centre space.
Narberth restrictions that affect a free stay
Towns Moor’s free period is tied to the evening arrangement described by Queens Hall: parking is free after 7pm on most evenings (thequeenshall.org.uk). Before that period, Queens Hall lists the Towns Moor charges as £1 for one hour, £2 for two hours and £2.50 for five hours. A driver using Towns Moor therefore needs to match the visit to the car park’s stated tariff or free period rather than assume that the car park is free throughout the day.
A local report says restriction notices adjacent to single yellow lines will show waiting restrictions between 8am and 6pm (tenby-today.co.uk). The restriction belongs to the signed single-yellow-line locations, not automatically to every street in Narberth. Narberth Surgery’s rear spaces are reserved solely for doctors and practice-employed staff, so those spaces are not a free option for ordinary visitors (narberthsurgery.co.uk).
Narberth parking when Towns Moor is busy
Narberth Food Festival changes the practical parking picture because the event directs visitors to A&C Aggregates for its main car park and provides a free Park and Ride (narberthfoodfestival.com). Drivers attending the festival can use the event facility instead of treating ordinary town parking as their only choice, while the £7 adult admission charge applies at the gate rather than to the parking transfer itself.
For an ordinary visit, Towns Moor offers a council-owned car park behind Queens Hall, but its daytime tariff is not free. These named sites give drivers a clear distinction between event parking at A&C Aggregates and standard town parking at Towns Moor.

Narberth’s official parking hub says Resolution No. 2023-14 updates parking meter rates and time limits, establishes a comprehensive residential parking permit programme and outlines permitted parking areas (narberthpa.gov). The resolution also sets residential occupant and invitee permit fees, maximum permit numbers per dwelling and a process for requesting changes to permitted parking zones. Those provisions matter to residents and permit users, while ordinary visitors must use the permitted public arrangements for the location.
Narberth’s official parking hub provides separate facilities to pay a parking ticket and to learn how to pay for metered parking (narberthpa.gov). The hub also provides access to parking permits and the full Resolution 2023-14, including parking rates, permit fees, time limits and neighbourhood parking maps. Drivers who receive a ticket can use the hub’s parking-ticket payment route, while permit and zone questions belong with the authority’s permit and resolution information.
