Document everything carefully and keep records of all communications with the council and towing operators for future reference.
Preventing Towed Vehicles Through Smart Parking

With average fines for illegal parking reaching up to €80, the contrast is stark when you consider the cost of reserving a private parking bay in advance. By utilising designated parking spaces, you can secure a stress-free parking experience amidst the city's busy streets. Proactive parking selection significantly reduces your exposure to impound fees and legal complications.
The convenience of having a dedicated parking location ensures that motorists, particularly those commuting to the Galway City Council offices on Father Griffin Road or the local shops in Shop Street, can avoid the complications associated with towing altogether. This proactive approach not only saves you money but also affords you peace of mind, allowing you to focus on your day in vibrant Galway rather than worrying about potential fines or tow-away scenarios. Many commuters now prefer advance parking reservations to eliminate uncertainty during their daily routines.
