This page explains how to delete your account for the Parksy - AI Parking Help app on iOS and Android and for www.parksy.com. It is the same account in the apps and on the website, so deleting it once removes it everywhere.
Delete Your Account in the App
- Open the Parksy - AI Parking Help app and sign in.
- Tap Account in the bar at the bottom of the screen.
- Open Account & security.
- Tap Delete my account, tick the box to confirm, then tap Delete my account again.
Delete Your Account on the Website
Sign in at www.parksy.com and go to www.parksy.com/account/delete, then follow the same confirmation steps.
Ask Us by Email
If you cannot sign in, email hi@parksy.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We may ask you to confirm the request, and we delete the account within 30 days.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account cancels an active card, PayPal or Google Play subscription automatically, and you will not be charged again. An App Store subscription can only be cancelled by you, in your Apple ID subscription settings, so please cancel it there as well.
What Is Deleted
- Your profile, email address and display name.
- Your saved places, favourites, notification settings, push notification tokens and email subscriptions.
- Your saved bookings and payment details.
- Imported contacts (the protected codes used to match them), your friends and your referral history.
- All active sign-in sessions on every device.
- Your parking listings are taken offline and are no longer linked to you.
What Is Anonymised or Kept, and for How Long
- AI chats: your saved text, voice and video chat transcripts are anonymised straight away. We keep the text without the link to your account, with email addresses and phone numbers removed.
- Purchase records: payment, invoice, subscription and refund records are kept for 7 years for tax and accounting, linked to a non-personal ID.
- AI answer reports: if you reported an AI answer, the report is kept for up to 1 year so that we can review it.
- Logs and backups: server logs and daily backups that may still hold your details are replaced within 30 days, and monthly off-site backups within 1 year.
- Anonymised statistics: totals that cannot identify you, such as bookings already used at parking locations, may be kept indefinitely.
Our retention periods are 30 days, 1 year, 3 years and 7 years. After that, data is deleted or kept only in anonymised form. Full details are in the Parksy Privacy Policy.
Delete Some Data and Keep Your Account
Signed-in members can clear their AI chat history at Account > AI & privacy, and can remove saved places, favourites and parking listings from their account pages. For anything else, email hi@parksy.com.
