Free Parking at UNSW Kensington After Hours and on Weekends
UNSW Kensington is the clearest named free option for drivers who can park outside weekday charging hours. Complimentary parking applies from 7.30pm to 7.30am on weekdays and all day on weekends and public holidays, provided the vehicle is in a marked bay and follows campus parking rules (unsw.edu.au). The campus is a restricted parking area, so free parking does not authorise use of unmarked areas.
UNSW Kensington also has accessible-bay concessions rather than general free parking. A NSW Mobility Parking Scheme permit holder may use an unreserved accessible bay free of charge when the permit is clearly displayed, the permit holder is travelling in the vehicle and all campus conditions are followed. Short-term bays at Gates 2 and 8 off High Street are available to visitors, but payment is required on arrival and the posted 2P or 4P limit applies.
