Bellingham Parking Citations, Fines, and the City’s Ticket Process
Bellingham parking violations are non-criminal violations punishable by a fine in a presumptive amount set by City Council (cob.org). The city’s parking-ticket page says the amount listed on the citation controls the fine for the particular violation. A citation therefore identifies the amount due for that ticket rather than applying one universal figure to every parking offense.
The city’s parking-ticket information directs drivers to its parking-ticket services and lists 800-874-1958 as a service number (cob.org). Bellingham’s paid-parking information also reports a $30 meter-violation fine and a $25 late fee when that fine is not paid within 30 days (bellinghamherald.com). Those figures apply to the meter-violation information reported there, while the city’s citation page describes the citation amount as the amount printed on the ticket.
