Finding available spots often consumes valuable time and increases frustration.
Parking fines and penalties add another financial burden to the equation. The City of Thunder Bay enforces steep penalties starting at $30 for regulation violations. When combined with metered lot charges, costs accumulate rapidly. However, the city does offer two hours of complimentary on-street parking that many commuters overlook while managing busy schedules.
