Holders of these permits can park in designated accessible bays. These bays are conveniently located near building entrances, shopping centres, medical facilities, and community landmarks throughout the area. In British Columbia, permits typically remain valid for up to three years. The duration depends on your physician's assessment and your specific mobility needs.

They also need to determine if your health would be at risk when walking more than 100 meters. Eligibility extends beyond vehicle owners. Even individuals being transported in a vehicle displaying the permit can qualify. The Social Planning and Research Council of British Columbia oversees the application process.
