The Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) administers all permit applications in Saint-Luc. You will need medical documentation from a registered physician. This documentation must confirm the severity of your mobility impairment. The application process takes several weeks. Your GP must assess whether your condition genuinely warrants accessible parking access. Once submitted, SAAQ reviews everything carefully. Approval depends on meeting their established eligibility criteria. For comprehensive details on requirements and timelines, consult the SAAQ accessible parking guide.
Local Application Process and Medical Documentation
Applying for disability parking in Saint-Luc requires completing SAAQ's official application form. You must provide detailed personal information about your mobility limitations and their impact on daily activities. Your GP evaluates the severity of your condition and confirms that accessible parking directly facilitates your independence and community participation. Documentation must be thorough because incomplete submissions cause significant processing delays.
After you submit your completed application package to SAAQ, expect a review period of approximately four to six weeks.
