Picton falls under Merton Council's jurisdiction for Blue Badge administration. You'll need proof of identity such as a passport or driving licence, plus your National Insurance number if applicable. Blue Badge Parking Regulations and Enforcement in Picton
Accessible parking bays in Picton must meet strict legal standards to ensure genuine accessibility. These spaces are typically at least 2.4 metres wide, allowing wheelchair users and passengers with mobility aids adequate room to enter and exit vehicles safely. Unauthorized parking in these bays carries serious penalties: fines reaching £1,000 protect these vital spots for those who truly need them.
