Parking Near Westgate
Westgate school access has restricted parking areas
Westgate School identifies the bus zone in front of the school as an area where parking is not allowed (westgate.cbe.ab.ca). The restriction applies to drivers stopping in the marked bus area, including during school arrival and departure periods. The school also identifies its staff parking lots as restricted areas rather than general visitor parking.
Westgate School’s parking guidance therefore distinguishes the bus zone and staff lots from spaces intended for ordinary visitors. A driver heading to the school should use only parking areas permitted by the school’s signs and markings.
Westgate parking is free for two hours away from event days
Westgate’s official parking information describes free parking for up to two hours on non-arena and non-stadium event days (westgateaz.com). The offer applies every day of the year when the site is not hosting an arena or stadium event, giving visitors a short free-stay option rather than unlimited parking.
The Westgate site ties the two-hour allowance to its guest parking operation and to the absence of an arena or stadium event. Drivers attending a regular visit can use the free period for a stay within two hours, while event-day conditions change the parking arrangement.

Alberta’s fine-payment service handles tickets linked to Westgate parking
Alberta’s fine-payment service covers all other fines and tickets, including parking-related tickets handled through the provincial system (alberta.ca). The service provides a route for paying an issued ticket rather than treating a parking penalty as an informal charge at the site.
The Alberta page also sets out other payment methods, overdue-ticket information, the cost of fines and help with fine payment. A driver dealing with a Westgate parking ticket can use those provincial options to identify the applicable amount and payment route. Alberta’s service separately explains what happens when a ticket is not paid, so an unpaid Westgate parking penalty should be dealt with through the provincial fine-payment process.
