Busy Crystal Palace Days and the Lowest-Cost Named Options
Crystal Palace Park has four car parks, with access from Thicket Road, Anerley Hill and Crystal Palace Park Road. Parking inside the park is managed by Crystal Palace Park Trust, and major works across the park are scheduled from May 2025 through Autumn 2026, with possible effects on access and parking. Drivers heading to the park should therefore expect demand to concentrate around the available entrances and car parks (crystalpalacepark.org.uk).
These options provide a defined cost when free kerbside spaces are unavailable, while the National Sports Centre space costs £6.25 an hour for a shorter stay.
Crystal Palace Parking Penalties and How the Trust Handles Them
Crystal Palace Park issues a Penalty Charge Notice when a driver fails to pay on entry or stays beyond the paid period. The Trust also issues a Penalty Charge Notice for parking outside a marked bay or on a yellow line (crystalpalacepark.org.uk).
The Crystal Palace Park Trust allows parking payments through RingGo, Sippi or its payment machines. Drivers who paid through RingGo or Sippi can extend a session and pay for extra time in the app; drivers who used a payment machine must buy another ticket before the session expires.
