Tickets, Permits and Restrictions That Affect Free Parking in Kenilworth

These conditions mean that a free facility may depend on the vehicle type, membership or displayed ticket rather than simply the location.
Clinton Lane in Kenilworth has proposed additional double yellow lines recorded by Kenilworth Town Council (Kenilworth Town Council). The town council also records that Warwick District Council charges were reintroduced in its 27 off-street car parks on 1 August 2020.
Abbey Fields Ticket Requirements and Kenilworth Parking Enforcement
Abbey Fields car park requires a displayed machine ticket for the two-hour free concession, and the car park lists charges for stays beyond that concession. Abbey Fields also lists four disabled parking bays and one motorcycle bay. The car park is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week (Warwick District Council).
Kenilworth Town Council recorded that Warwick District Council reintroduced charges in 27 off-street car parks on 1 August 2020. The same notice states that charges had been free in council-operated car parks during the Coronavirus emergency and that council rangers continued mobile patrols to ensure safe and considerate parking (Kenilworth Town Council).
During the emergency free-parking period, the council notice stated that charges and penalties would not be applied, while also asking drivers to restrict their time in public car parks and spaces. The notice does not set out a general penalty amount for ordinary Kenilworth parking overstays, so no single fine figure applies to every car park or street.
