Overstay Charges at Knowle Park and Council Car Parks
The operator issues a Parking Charge Notice for parking between 8pm and 6am or for an overstay, while the Knowle Park Trust receives the parking tariffs and Euro Car Parks receives the fine money (knowlepark.org.uk).
Knowle Park allows an overstaying driver to check the stay length at the machine and top up the original payment at the machine or through the app. Payment made before midnight on the parking day covers the stay under the operator’s stated process.
Solihull Council’s Knowle car parks require a displayed ticket for the free two-hour period, so an overstay or failure to comply with the displayed conditions is handled as a council parking contravention rather than as free parking (solihull.gov.uk).
