North Yorkshire PCNs for overstaying or parking wrongly
A PCN can follow an overstay, parking outside a designated bay, or breaching a controlled, disc or permit restriction.
North Yorkshire Council provides an online payment service for a PCN, and the vehicle owner needs the PCN reference number and vehicle details to use it. The council also provides an appeal route for drivers who believe the notice was issued incorrectly. The exact penalty amount is determined by the contravention shown on the notice, so the PCN itself is the document to use when paying or challenging the charge (northyorks.gov.uk).
