Parking Near Old Windsor
Home Park Public conditions for free parking
Home Park Public makes motorcycle parking free, so the concession applies to motorcycles rather than cars (windsorgreatpark.co.uk). Home Park Public also makes Blue Badge parking free when the Blue Badge is clearly displayed in the vehicle, making the concession available to a disabled-badge holder using the site.
Home Park Public does not allow overnight parking (windsorgreatpark.co.uk). The restriction matters even where the vehicle qualifies for a free category, because the site’s free motorcycle and Blue Badge arrangements do not create an overnight parking entitlement.
Busy Windsor alternatives when Old Windsor spaces fill
Home Park Public charges £13 for parking over five hours and offers free parking for motorcycles and for Blue Badge vehicles displaying the badge clearly (windsorgreatpark.co.uk). The site does not permit overnight parking, so it suits a daytime visit rather than an overnight stay.
Victoria Street car park in Windsor uses Zone E charging bands rather than a free-parking arrangement. Victoria Street charges £4.40 for one to two hours, £7.10 for two to three hours, £14.50 for three to four hours and £17 for four to five hours (rbwm.gov.uk).

Old Windsor parking fines and how to deal with a PCN
The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead charges £70 for a higher-level parking contravention, reduced to £35 when paid within the stated discount period. A lower-level contravention costs £50, reduced to £25 when paid within the stated discount period (rbwm.gov.uk). The applicable amount depends on the contravention recorded on the Penalty Charge Notice.
The Royal Borough provides an online payment service for parking fines (rbwm.gov.uk). Drivers who believe a PCN was issued incorrectly can use the Royal Borough’s parking-fine challenge process; the authority asks drivers to allow up to 48 hours from the issue date for the penalty to appear on its system. The challenge route is separate from payment, so a driver disputing a PCN should use the authority’s challenge process rather than treating the payment page as an appeal.
