Busy periods around Sheldon Country Park and Ragley Drive
Ragley Drive is the named access point for Sheldon Country Park, so demand is likely to focus on the entrance-side parking when visitors arrive for walks, cycling, exercise, business or meetings. Birmingham City Council says it is considering the impact of displacement parking and possible restrictions in existing hotspot areas, following residents’ feedback (birminghambeheard.org.uk). That makes surrounding residential roads a poor substitute where parking could obstruct drives, cross verges or create anti-social parking.
