When Stroud's Free Spaces Fill Up, Use a Low-Cost Council Car Park

Cheapside Bath Place costs £0.90 for one hour, £1.50 for two hours, £2 for three hours, £2.20 for four hours and £3 for up to seven hours from Monday to Saturday between 8am and 5pm; Sundays and bank holidays are free (stroud.gov.uk).

London Road Service Yard is for permit holders only, so it is not a general free-parking option (stroud.gov.uk). Stroud District Council offers virtual permits at participating locations, allowing permit holders to park without paying for each visit.

Stroud Parking Penalties and Paying a Council PCN
Stroud District Council issues Penalty Charge Notices for parking contraventions, and an outstanding council PCN can be paid online by credit or debit card through the council's payment service (paynotice.co.uk). The notice identifies the amount due and the payment route for the particular contravention, so the notice is the controlling document for a driver who has overstayed or parked outside the permitted terms.
A driver who believes a PCN was issued incorrectly can make a formal challenge through the council's parking process; a Stroud parking ticket typically has a 28-day period for a formal challenge (resolvo.uk).
