A vehicle cannot stop within 20 metres before or 10 metres after a bus stop. Parking is prohibited within 10 metres of an unsignalised intersection and within 20 metres of a signalised intersection.
Burnside streets require at least 3 metres of clear road space beside a solid white line or dividing strip, and narrow roads must retain 3 metres for passing traffic. Parking on a footpath or verge is not allowed, including parking with two wheels on a verge. Loading zones generally allow 30 minutes unless signed otherwise and are intended for active loading, while a driveway may be crossed only for passenger drop-off under 2 minutes with the vehicle attended.
