Centerville Train Depot has two designated parking lots, with the main lot beside the depot and a second lot southeast of the tracks beside Bill Ball Plaza. The designated fee area charges $3 a day on weekdays from Monday at 12:00 a.m. through Friday at 11:59 p.m., but parking remains free on weekends and holidays (fremont.gov). The city does not enforce parking fees in the fee-designated lots on New Year’s Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day and Labor Day.
Centerville Train Depot also provides free designated spaces for Zipcar vehicles only, on a first-come, first-served basis. Designated motorcycle parking areas are free, although a motorcycle in a numbered stall within the daily-fee area must pay from Monday at 12:00 a.m. through Friday at 11:59 p.m (fremont.gov). Drivers using ordinary car spaces therefore have a free option at the depot on weekends and listed holidays, rather than throughout the weekday fee period.
Fremont park-and-ride options when free depot spaces fill
