Free parking at Sunset Cliffs and Point Loma Marina
Drivers looking for free parking in Point Loma can use the main large park on the south end of Sunset Cliffs Boulevard at Landera Street, or the parking lot off Osprey Street. Point Loma Marina hours and Point Loma campus restrictions
Point Loma Marina separates its free 24-hour parking from its paid parking arrangements. The marina lists its $2 and $1 parking service for Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and lists Sunday as closed. The marina's operating information therefore matters when choosing the free lot for a longer visit (pointlomamarina.com).
The university's parking and driving page gives enforcement hours of Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to an unspecified closing time, so campus spaces are not a general free-parking substitute. Freshmen violating the university policy face a $500 fine, with a second offense referred automatically to the Parking Appeals Committee and another fine (pointlomana.edu).

Busy Point Loma visits and cheaper daily parking alternatives
Free parking demand is strongest around visits to Sunset Cliffs and other coastal attractions, particularly when many drivers arrive at the same time.
