Parking Near Hillsboro Village
Free customer parking at Hillsboro Village’s Civic Center
The Civic Center Parking Lot at 150 E Main Street offers customer and visitor parking in spaces limited from 12 minutes to two hours (hillsboro-oregon.gov). The free period depends on the marked space, so a short errand and a longer downtown visit do not use the same allowance.
Accessible parking spaces are available in the Civic Center Parking Lot, the Underground Garage, and along both sides of East Main Street. Public parking on streets throughout Downtown Hillsboro is available at all hours, although the downtown parking authority warns that street and lot spaces carry time limits (downtownhillsboro.org).
How Hillsboro Village time limits control free stays
The Civic Center Parking Lot keeps customer and visitor parking free only within the posted allowance, which ranges from 12 minutes to two hours by space (hillsboro-oregon.gov). A driver who needs longer than the marked allowance cannot treat a short-stay bay as all-day parking simply because no payment is requested.
Accessible spaces in the Civic Center Parking Lot, Underground Garage, and along both sides of East Main Street do not have time restrictions, but those spaces are reserved for vehicles displaying the required accessible parking credential (hillsboro-oregon.gov). Downtown Hillsboro street parking is public at all hours, while the downtown authority says time limits apply throughout the streets and listed lots (downtownhillsboro.org).

The same Oregon schedule lists a $50 fine for blocking traffic (oregon.gov). A driver who overstays the Civic Center Parking Lot’s marked 12-minute-to-two-hour allowance risks an improper-parking citation, while a driver occupying an accessible space without authorization risks the reserved-space fine.
