Parking Near East Nashville
Free parking options around East Nashville’s Hope Church and WeGo lots
Hope Church in East Nashville has opened its parking lot to residents and passersby with a “Free Parking for all” sign. Hope Church allows free parking in the lot, but the lot does not allow overnight parking (wkrn.com). The church lot is therefore suited to a daytime stop rather than an evening-to-morning stay.
WeGo Park & Ride sites provide free parking for WeGo Public Transit customers, carpoolers, and vanpoolers (wego transit). The WeGo Park & Ride program applies the free parking to riders using the transit service and to people meeting a carpool or vanpool, rather than offering unrestricted parking for every visitor. These sites can work for drivers leaving a car before a bus journey from the East Nashville area.

Parksy lists secure lot parking in vibrant Nashville, a Nashville lot near downtown attractions, and a PMC space at 408 Woodland Street. These are paid parking options for drivers who need a nearby lot rather than a free space, with the listing price shown separately when available.
East Nashville restrictions that can end a free stay
Hope Church keeps its free lot available only without overnight parking, so a vehicle left overnight does not meet the lot’s stated condition (wkrn.com).
Downtown Nashville street parking has a two-hour daily limit, and meters cannot have time added after that two-hour limit (wsmv.com). The two-hour rule belongs to the downtown street parking system, not to every curb in East Nashville. Nashville’s street parking information also lists a ten-hour maximum for some metered on-street parking and a two-dollar-per-hour Economy Zone 8 rate (nashvilledowntown.com). Drivers using a free space should distinguish that street rule from the separate conditions at Hope Church and WeGo sites.
Nashville parking tickets and payment consequences for East Nashville drivers
Nashville raised the fine for parking violations from $10 plus a $1 fee to a higher amount under the council measure reported by Fox 17 (fox17.com). The reported change concerns Nashville parking violations, including tickets issued in the city, rather than a special East Nashville tariff.
Nashville parking tickets can lead to a parking warrant when payment is not received within 30 days. The reported consequences include additional court costs, wage garnishment, or other enforcement (wkrn.com). SP+ provides an online violation-payment and dispute service that requires the violation number and license plate (spplus.com). A driver disputing or paying an East Nashville ticket can use the violation details shown on the notice through that service.
