San Antonio event days and VIA Park & Ride parking
San Antonio city parking facilities apply event rates to large-scale events, large conventions, and conferences nearby. The city lists Fiesta San Antonio, the Texas Folklife Festival, Hemisfair events, Comic-Con conventions, and New Year’s Eve celebrations among events included in the event-rate structure (sapark.sanantonio.gov). St. Mary’s Garage charges a $15 event rate when that rate is in effect.

San Antonio’s city garages and lots have daily rates from $2 to $10, according to the city parking FAQ, so a city facility can remain a low-cost named alternative when a large event removes free downtown availability (sapark.sanantonio.gov).
San Antonio parking citations, towing, and payment options
A vehicle towed for a parking violation or hazard is subject to the tow price, while a vehicle towed for unpaid tickets carries both the outstanding citations and the tow cost.
San Antonio commercial loading zones require a valid Commercial Decal at all times, and overtime parking beyond 30 minutes can result in a citation and towing (sapark.sanantonio.gov). A boot for unpaid parking tickets adds an administrative fee to the unpaid citations.
San Antonio city parking accepts credit cards, does not accept cash, and supports payment through the SAPark app for on-street parking (sapark.sanantonio.gov). San Antonio’s parking FAQ identifies towing, booting, and unpaid citations as enforcement consequences rather than publishing a single universal citation amount.
