Seattle time limits that can end a free downtown stay
(seattle.gov) Pioneer Square and Waterfront Sunday time limits operate from 10am to 6pm, even when the space itself is free on Sunday.
Seattle’s 72-hour on-street ordinance applies on every city street, including blocks without a posted sign. A vehicle cannot remain on the same city block for more than 72 consecutive hours and must be moved off the block face at least once during that period (seattle.gov). Temporary restrictions for utility work, cleaning, or special events can require earlier removal, and Seattle says vehicles that are not moved can be cited, towed, and impounded.
Seattle citations, towing, and challenging a parking violation
Seattle parking citations can result from violating a posted restriction or failing to move a vehicle under the city’s 72-hour ordinance.

Seattle also provides information about redeeming an impounded vehicle and requesting a hearing through the Impounded Vehicle Notice (seattle.gov).
