Annual resident permits cost between $50 and $100, depending on your residential zone. These permits grant access to designated parking bays without time restrictions, making them invaluable for permanent residents. Keep your documentation organized and submit everything at once to avoid delays. For complete details on documentation requirements, visit the resident permit application guide or contact the council directly. Having a valid permit eliminates daily parking stress entirely.
Pre-Booking Your Moving Day Parking
Pre-booking moving day parking through peer-to-peer services eliminates the scramble for legal parking bays. Ocean Grove's estimated 13,000 residents create competitive parking conditions, particularly during peak moving seasons like weekends and month-end. By securing your spot in advance, you guarantee a convenient location near your new property.
Advance booking reduces stress significantly. Instead of circling streets like Orton Street searching for available spaces, you'll have a confirmed location waiting. This peace of mind allows you to focus on coordinating your moving team and settling belongings. Private parking options often cost less than formal permits while offering superior reliability and flexibility for your specific moving timeline.
