Proof of residence and current vehicle registration are essential documents. Businesses need to demonstrate a registered address in Pentland Hills, while contractors require evidence of active work contracts in the area.
The financial investment is modest but worth understanding upfront. Annual resident permits cost £110, with flexibility through six-month options at £55 each. Trade permits vary depending on duration, while visitor vouchers are sold in books at reasonable rates. Processing typically takes two to four weeks, so planning ahead matters. No lengthy application forms. No waiting lists. No missed deadlines. Simply browse available spaces, book what suits your schedule, and enjoy secure vehicle storage. For those visiting occasionally or new to the area, this flexibility beats traditional permit bureaucracy entirely. With only 800 council permits available against growing demand, private options have become genuinely indispensable for many.
