When Chorley’s free short-stay spaces are occupied, a priced Parksy driveway space at Cunliffe Medical Centre costs £4.30 a day and is 0.6 miles away. The £4.20-a-day space near Chorley Health Centre is also 0.6 miles away, making either location suitable for drivers who need predictable parking near Chorley’s medical facilities.

Chorley’s Free-Parking Limits and Blue Badge Concessions
Blue Badge holders may park free for up to four hours in any space in Chorley Council car parks, provided the badge and time clock are clearly displayed. Flat Iron is the exception: Blue Badge parking is free there, but the two-hour maximum still applies (chorley.gov.uk). Motorcycle parking is exempt from charges where motorcycle parking is available, including Flat Iron, Friday Street, Cleveland Street, West Street, Queens Road, Back Mount, Fleet Street and Arley Street car parks.
Chorley PCN Amounts and Ways to Challenge a Ticket
Chorley Council directs drivers to pay or appeal a council-car-park penalty charge notice through the Chipside website. Payment is also available by telephone on 0345 505 2525, which operates 24 hours a day (chorley.gov.uk). The council’s PCN page distinguishes council-car-park notices from on-street enforcement, so the notice’s location determines the relevant process.
Lancashire Teaching Hospitals lists parking charges of £70, reduced to £42 when paid within 14 days, for its hospital parking enforcement. The hospital also provides an appeals process that can waive the charge in appropriate circumstances (lancsteachinghospitals.nhs.uk). This hospital charge is separate from a Chorley Council car-park PCN, so drivers should use the authority named on the notice when paying or appealing.
