Macclesfield Parking Penalties and How Hospital Parking Is Settled
Macclesfield District General Hospital requires patients and visitors to settle the current parking charge at a kiosk before leaving the hospital site (macclesfield.eastcheshire.nhs.uk). The kiosk process uses the full vehicle registration number and the photograph of the vehicle to identify the visit. Drivers can check the current duration at any kiosk before completing payment, which helps them select the correct tariff band.
On later visits, good2go automatically deducts the applicable parking tariff when the stay exceeds the free allowance. Blue Badge holders remain exempt from hospital parking charges after registering the badge at main reception, while motorcycles are also exempt.
