Parking Near Romford
Free Sunday Parking at Romford’s Main Shopping Car Parks
The Brewery Romford multistorey car park offers free parking on Sundays, while The Brewery’s surface-level car park costs £1 on Sundays (thebreweryromford.com). The multistorey option suits drivers visiting the town centre who want a Sunday space without a parking charge.
The Liberty Shopping Centre gives all customers free parking on Sundays (theliberty.co.uk). The Mercury Mall also provides free parking on Sundays, while Asda customers can use its customer arrangement after spending £5 (themercurymall.co.uk). The Asda condition applies to customers, so it is not a general free-parking option for every driver.
Romford’s Free Spaces Depend on Customer Status and the Day
The Liberty Shopping Centre’s Sunday parking is free for all customers, making the customer condition central to whether the stay remains free (theliberty.co.uk). The Mercury Mall’s Sunday parking is free, but the Asda arrangement requires a £5 spend and is therefore limited to qualifying Asda customers (themercurymall.co.uk).
The Brewery Romford separates its Sunday offer by facility: the multistorey car park is free, whereas the surface-level car park charges £1 (thebreweryromford.com). Tesla vehicles can receive two hours free at The Liberty Shopping Centre when they charge once within a 24-hour period, so the concession is specifically for qualifying Tesla users rather than general visitors (theliberty.co.uk).
Sunday Demand Makes the Brewery’s £1 Surface Car Park a Fallback
Sunday shopping creates several free options in Romford, but The Brewery Romford’s surface-level car park provides a named low-cost fallback when its free multistorey spaces are unavailable. The surface car park costs £1 on Sundays, while the multistorey car park remains the free Sunday choice (thebreweryromford.com).
The Mercury Mall also keeps Sunday parking free, giving drivers another named shopping-centre option in Romford (themercurymall.co.uk). The Mercury Mall’s Asda customer arrangement requires a £5 spend, so drivers who are not making that qualifying purchase should use the Sunday offer rather than treat the Asda condition as unrestricted free parking.

A Premier Inn Romford Central space is 294 yards away and costs £8 an hour. A garage space in Romford is 309 yards away at £160 a month, while a Stashbee space in East London is 311 yards away at £65 a month. Romford Parking Charges Apply When a Free Customer Stay Is Exceeded
The Brewery Romford distinguishes the free Sunday multistorey car park from its £1 Sunday surface car park, so leaving a vehicle in the surface facility is not free merely because the day is Sunday (thebreweryromford.com). The Liberty Shopping Centre’s free Sunday offer applies to customers, while its two-hour Tesla concession requires a qualifying charging session within a 24-hour period (theliberty.co.uk).
The Mercury Mall’s free Sunday parking and its £5 Asda customer arrangement are separate conditions, so a driver should not treat the Asda offer as an unlimited public concession (themercurymall.co.uk).
