Free Parking Windows Around the University of Florida Campus
University of Florida campus parking restrictions apply in most lots and garages from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, while restrictions are lifted in most, but not all, areas after 4:30 p.m. and all day on weekends (offcampus.ufl.edu).
Free parking is not guaranteed in every campus area during those periods. UF Transportation and Parking Services says vehicles parked during permit-restricted hours must display a valid UF parking permit, use a metered space, or use a paid parking facility (taps.ufl.edu). The University of Florida Welcome Center and Garage 5 instead lists paid short-term, mid-term, and daily options, so drivers should not treat that garage as a free car park.
UF Permit Hours and Restrictions That Control Free Parking
