Free Entry Route

You do not need to pay to enter or win. How does Parksy Parking Fine & Ticket Protection work?

Parksy Parking Fine & Ticket Protection is free to enter. Every member — free or paid VIP — can win the cost of their parking ticket or parking fine back once they submit a photo of their parking ticket or parking fine to our email hi@parksy.com, subject to a 30-day waiting period from account or membership creation. Your parking ticket or fine must be dated after the 30-day waiting period has ended. The draws are weekly (subject to a parking ticket photo being submitted that week).

Can you provide an example of the draw?

If only one person submits their parking ticket (or parking fine) in a given week, they will automatically win the monetary amount of their parking ticket (as they are the only entrant).

If two or more people submit their parking ticket (or parking fine) in the same week, entries are allocated as follows: free members receive 1 entry for that week; VIP members receive 10 entries for that week. Every entry, whether free or paid, carries an identical probability of being selected — paid membership increases the number of entries received, not the odds or value of any individual entry. A winner is then randomly chosen from all entries for that week using our digital draw system.

How often are the draws done?

Weekly — 52 draws per calendar year — as long as a parking fine or parking ticket photo is submitted by an eligible member that week.

Why is it a draw rather than straight forward payout?

The aim is to compensate as many drivers as possible for their fines without people abusing the program by claiming numerous fines. The total prize pool increases as the Parksy community grows.

Do I have to be a Parksy member to enter?

No. Entry is free — create a Parksy account with your email address and you're eligible after a 30-day waiting period, the same wait that applies to paid VIP members. Free members receive 1 entry per weekly draw. VIP members receive 10 entries per weekly draw for every successful billing period, also after the same 30-day wait. No purchase is required to enter or win.

Do we receive entries?

With the Parksy draws we do not provide entry combinations as we use a digital draw system. Your username will go into the draw by the amount of entries you have (1 for free members, 10 for VIP members per weekly period) and the system randomly selects a winner via our random digital draw system, with every individual entry carrying equal odds.

Can anyone win?

Yes, as long as this does not contravene local laws and regulations which you must check and as long as we can send you the prize if you win, you can enter. Please note it is not permissible to enter if it is a breach of your country's law. Best of luck!

How do I know I'm in the draw? What are accumulating entries?

After creating a free account or purchasing a VIP membership, you'll receive welcome emails including login details for the Parksy website. Your entries are based on your entry route (free or VIP) and, for VIP members, the number of successful billing months. Your account creation or purchase date will show in the member portal.

If I do win, how am I contacted?

When you sign up to Parksy you'll provide your email details, these are what are used to contact you and if you are the lucky Parksy winner you'll be contacted within 24 hours of the giveaway drawing time.

How are the draws completed?

We are using a purpose-built winner system. This is computer generated and randomly selects a winner based on the amount of entries, with every entry carrying equal odds regardless of entry route.

Do I have to be over 18 to enter?

By becoming a Parksy member (free or paid) the Participant agrees to enter the Contest and agrees that:

Parksy (hereinafter referred to as 'We' or 'Us' or 'Our'), is conducting a trade promotion by way of a lucky draw (hereinafter referred to interchangeably as the 'Contest' or 'Giveaway') for individuals (hereinafter referred to as 'Participant' or 'Participants' or 'Members' or 'Entrants' or 'Them' or 'You' or 'Your'). THE CONTEST (PARKING FINES & TICKETS)

1. The Giveaway event, at which the winner for that week's prize will be drawn, will be conducted weekly (52 times per calendar year) following the close of that week's entry period, until further notice.
2. Parking fine or ticket date must be post the 30 day waiting period, which applies identically to Free Entry Route and VIP Entry Route participants, measured from account creation or membership purchase respectively. Only one entry submission per ticket allowed.
3. Information on how to enter (free or paid) and prizes form part of the terms of entry. Entry into the Contest is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
4. If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and anything else that refers to this competition, these Terms and Conditions will prevail.

ELIGIBILITY

5. Entry is open to residents of Australia (excluding the Australian Capital Territory, South Australia, and the Northern Territory, unless and until Parksy holds the relevant permits in those jurisdictions), the United Kingdom, the United States (excluding any state where this Contest cannot lawfully be offered), New Zealand, and Canada (Canadian entrants must additionally correctly answer a skill-testing question before any prize is awarded, without the assistance of any calculating device, as required under Canadian law). Entry is void where prohibited or restricted by law, and specifically excludes residents of jurisdictions where privately-run chance-based prize promotions are prohibited, including without limitation Belgium and India. Parksy may add further jurisdictions to this list from time to time upon confirming compliance with local promotional and gambling law; the current list of eligible jurisdictions is published on this page. Entry is further void for employees, contractors involved in administering or determining the outcome of the Contest, and immediate families of Parksy and their associated companies and agencies. Immediate family includes: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or stepchild (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent.

6. Participants may enter the Contest via either of the following routes, both free of any entry fee:

   • Free Entry Route: create a free Parksy account (email address only), agree to these Terms and Conditions, wait 30 days, then submit a ticket/fine photo each week to enter. 1 entry per weekly draw.
   • VIP Entry Route: purchase a Parksy VIP subscription via official links, agree to these Terms and Conditions, wait 30 days, then submit a ticket/fine photo each week to enter. 10 entries per weekly draw for each successful billing period.

   No purchase is required to enter or win under either route, and both routes carry identical per-entry odds.

ENTRIES FOR THE CONTEST

7. We may be giving away mini prizes that are a promotion of the Parksy brand and our partners. Participants are eligible for the Contest via the Free Entry Route (no cost) or the VIP Entry Route (recurring paid membership), both described in Condition 6. VIP Entry Route participants are automatically placed in the Contest upon successful payment; Free Entry Route participants are automatically placed in the Contest upon account creation, both subject to the 30-day wait. Entries accrue weekly: 1 entry per week for Free Entry Route participants, 10 entries per week for VIP Entry Route participants for each successful billing month. Every individual entry, regardless of route, has an equal probability of being selected in the random draw.

THE PRIZES

8. Payout limits increase as the Parksy community grows. Current weekly prize maximum of $399 AUD. Current total pool prize maximum of $9,999 AUD per calendar year.
9. The Winners of the weekly prize will be announced on the members giveaway website.
10. The announcement of the winners may also be broadcast live on all our social media platforms. The Winners shall also be contacted via phone and email immediately after each promotion.
11. Winners will be published online immediately after the initial prize draw date as listed above via our social media platforms and published on our website at Parksy.
12. The prize will be handed over by our team to the Winner within 15 business days after the draw. Times may vary as a result of product availability and transport/freight availability.
13. If the prize is unclaimed after a 3-month period of the initial draw, the prize will then be redrawn and a new winner announced 2 months from the stated draw date at 10.00 am AEDT on our social media platforms, Facebook and Instagram, and published on our website at Parksy.

QUERIES

14. The Participant shall be entitled to contact us at hi@parksy.com. All communications in relation to the Contest must be made via hi@parksy.com or via our customer support number +61413118049.

REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES OF PARKSY

15. We warrant the following:
    • All prizes involved in the Contest to be given away as a promotional prize are the property of Parksy and are in as is condition
    • The purpose of this promotion is to bring awareness to the Parksy brand.
    • Parksy neither sells raffle tickets nor any tickets specifically to win these prizes.
    • No purchase is necessary to enter or win this Contest. These prizes can be won by any Parksy account holder via the Free Entry Route or the VIP Entry Route described in Condition 6, at Parksy's sole cost.
    • Entries to the Contest are only provided as a promotional prize to Members or Customers of Parksy and cannot be purchased and will not be sold separately.
    • Parksy entirely funds all of their promotions. Everything associated with this promotion is funded by Parksy.
    • Free Entry Route participants accumulate 1 entry into each weekly draw upon submitting a qualifying ticket/fine photo. VIP Entry Route participants accumulate 10 entries into each weekly draw for every successful subscription payment.
    • If a Parksy VIP subscription payment fails it will retry 4 times and after repeated failures the subscription will be suspended on the final 4th attempt; the member remains eligible via the Free Entry Route regardless.

MEMBERSHIP TERMS

16. Free accounts and VIP memberships purchased through Parksy grant access to the rewards platform, VIP memberships for a time period as described on the Parksy pricing page.
17. VIP memberships also include discounts to our official merchandise store.
18. VIP memberships to our club also include invitations and access to official Parksy Events Australia wide (membership must be active at the time of the event and proof must be provided)

REFUNDS, RETURNS, EXCHANGES

19. Entry into the Contest is free via the Free Entry Route. Your optional purchase of a VIP membership grants additional entries but is not required to enter or win. Memberships purchased during a giveaway are non-refundable.

    Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. For major failures you are entitled to cancel your service contract with us; and a refund for the unused portion or compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods.

    If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done, you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service. Refunds or rectifications cannot be given for reasons such as change of mind or failure to properly understand this promotional T&C or the Parksy platform T&C.

COPYRIGHT, STATUTORY GUARANTEES, WAIVER AND LIABILITY

22. In consideration for Parksy awarding the prize to the winner, the winner hereby permits the winner's submission, image and/or voice, as recorded, photographed or filmed during the winner's participation in/with the prize to appear in advertising or marketing thereof, in any media whatsoever throughout the world and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
23. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the ability of Parksy to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, Parksy may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to any directions given under State Regulation.
24. Parksy does not exclude any rights and remedies in respect of goods or services under the Australian Consumer Law in the Competition and Consumer Act (2010) (Australian Consumer Law) which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified. However, the remainder of this clause will apply to the fullest extent permitted by law and Parksy shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
25. Parksy is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by entrant or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
26. Parksy reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who it has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The legal rights of Parksy to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
27. All entries become the property of Parksy. Parksy collects personal information about you for the purposes of conducting this promotion. Any disclosure of such information will be made as required by law and in accordance with these terms and conditions but no further use of this information will be made without prior consent.
28. All entries become the property of Parksy. All entries will be entered into a database and it may use the entrant's names and email address for future promotional marketing purposes without notice and without any fee being paid unless otherwise advised by the entrant. By entering this competition, entrants confirm that they allow their details to be used for this purpose. If entrants no longer consent to their details being used for future marketing purposes, the entrant should contact Parksy on their details set out in Condition 15. Any request to update, modify or delete the entrant's details should be directed to Parksy.
29. Parksy collects information about you, including for example your name and email address which you provide when entering the competition. We collect and use that information to provide you with our goods and services and to promote and improve our goods and services. We may use your information as described when we collect information from you. If you do not provide us with requested information we may not be able to provide you with the goods and services you require. Where you have entered a competition, we may disclose your personal information to authorities if you are a prize winner or otherwise as required by law. To request access to, or to update, personal information Parksy holds about you, entrants can contact the office of Parksy by the methods described in Condition 15.
