Today I want to talk to you about an inspiring story that I heard from a community 2 00:00:05,720 --> 00:00:11,920 member of Parksy. Mandy, a full-time mum with another baby on the way, was having 3 00:00:11,920 --> 00:00:16,600 a hard time with transportation. She lived in a new apartment complex in South Bank 4 00:00:16,600 --> 00:00:21,280 Melbourne and her mother-in-law had moved in to help her out. Her husband was using 5 00:00:21,280 --> 00:00:28,200 the only parking space allotted to them, leaving her stranded with a toddler and her mother-in-law. 6 00:00:28,200 --> 00:00:33,120 Mandy was frustrated with the inconvenience of taking public transport or taxis to get 7 00:00:33,120 --> 00:00:38,040 to pregnancy tests and doctor appointments for her elderly mother-in-law. Her husband 8 00:00:38,040 --> 00:00:43,800 needed the car for work when Mandy was feeling trapped and helpless. But then Mandy discovered 9 00:00:43,800 --> 00:00:48,960 Parksy and purchased a membership. She found a parking space for rent in her 10 00:00:48,960 --> 00:00:54,240 same building and it completely changed her life. With a new car, she now had the freedom 11 00:00:54,240 --> 00:00:59,920 and independence to do what she wanted when she wanted. She was even excited to go shopping 12 00:00:59,920 --> 00:01:05,400 to decorate nursery the last time we heard from her. And that's what Parksy 13 00:01:05,400 --> 00:01:11,640 is all about. Helping people live a better life by finding parking or renting unused 14 00:01:11,640 --> 00:01:16,400 car space to make some extra money.
